NW Veg Compassionate Thanksgiving

Northwest VEG is thrilled to host Oregon’s largest vegan potluck, just in time for the holidays! Held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Beaverton on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, this community gathering celebrates plant-based eating with a shared, pre-holiday meal. A big thanks to Tofurky for generously donating Tofurky roasts to make this event even more special!

For those attending, please bring a plant-based dish (free of meat, dairy, honey, or any animal products), a card listing its ingredients, and your own plate and utensils. If you’re coming solo, prepare enough to serve 4-6; for families or groups, increase your serving by 4 for each additional person.

Doors open at 3:30, and the meal begins at 4. Arriving early is a great way to settle in and join in on Mingle Bingo, a fun icebreaker where you can meet others and maybe win a prize! Instead of numbers, the bingo card is filled with traits and activities, and you find someone who matches each box. Get five names in a row, and you’ve got BINGO!

Registration is $10 for the general public, $5 for current Northwest VEG members, $1 for children under 6, and free for very young children who don’t need a separate seat. Nonmembers also have the option to join Northwest VEG or renew their membership to enjoy discounted admission.
