Church Heating System

Our church heating system may not be an exciting topic, but it is an important part of our shared experiences in our church building. 

For the past several years, our heating system has been increasingly unreliable. Last year, we were operating with one boiler out of service, another struggling to keep up, and many replacement parts no longer available. The system is now more than 25 years old and was not originally designed as a commercial-grade system.

After considerable research and deliberation, the Church Finance Committee and Church Board have determined that the best solution is to replace the system with a new, commercial-quality boiler system. Installation will begin September 21 and is expected to be completed within a month. This new system should provide dependable heat for our church family for many years to come.

The total cost of the project is $210,000. We praise God that, through careful financial planning, the church currently has $147,000 in Capital Reserves available for the project. This leaves approximately $63,000 still to be funded.
