'TORCHBEARERS' PATHFINDER CLUB

The Beaverton "Torchbearers" Pathfinder Club is the local chapter of a larger Seventh-day Adventist Church-based organization called Pathfinders. Geared for young people grades 5-12, this organization teaches to share and care about others as they become involved in community service projects and go on short-term mission trips.

What is the Purpose of Pathfinders?

Our purpose is to help young people learn to serve others and to have a closer relationship with God by use of the following avenues:

  • Outreach - Sharing their faith in God / Reaching out to help those in need
  • Nature - Camping and outdoor activities
  • Crafts - Arts, crafts and hobbies

When do Pathfinders meet?

We meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 at the Beaverton Seventh-day Adventist church on Murray Blvd. Our current season begins with an Induction service in September or October and ends with the Pathfinder Fair in May, but there are also multiple activities throughout the summer.

Our Pathfinder group has been an active and vibrant part of our church and community for many years. We visit church members who are home-bound, help lead worship and song service, go camping, learn and earn honors, etc.

How can I join Pathfinders?
