The Beaverton "Torchbearers" Pathfinder Club is the local chapter of a larger Seventh-Day Adventist Church-based organization called Pathfinders. Geared for young people grades 5-12, this organization teaches to share and care about others as they become involved in community service projects and go on short-term mission trips.
'Torchbearers' Pathfinder Club
What is the Purpose of Pathfinders? Our purpose is to help young people learn to serve others and to have a closer relationship with God by use of the following avenues:
- Outreach - Sharing their faith in God / Reaching out to help those in need
- Nature - Camping and outdoor activities
- Crafts - Arts, crafts and hobbies
When do Pathfinders meet?We meet on first three Sundays of each month at the Beaverton Seventh Day Adventist church on Murray Blvd. In addition to regular meetings, Pathfinders help collect offering during our worship services evey second Saturday of the month. Our current season begins with an Induction service in October 2015 and ends with the Pathfinder Fair in May, 2016.
Our Pathfinder group has been an active and vibrant part of our church and community for many years. We visit church members who are home-bound, help lead worship and song service, go camping, learn and earn honors, etc.
How can I join Pathfinders? To learn more or to join the Beaverton Pathfinder Club, please use the Contact form on their official site here.

Pledge and Law
The Pathfinder PledgeBy the grace of God, I will be pure, kind, and true. I will keep the Pathfinder Law. I will be a servant of God and a friend to man.
The Pathfinder LawThe Pathfinder Law is for me to:
Keep the morning watch,
Do my honest part,
Care for my body,
Keep a level eye,
Be courteous and obedient,
Walk softly in the sanctuary,
Keep a song in my heart, and
Go on God's errands.
